Nadal made some errors early, but mostly because he was feeling Djoko's game. The court is allowing for hardcourt like penetration with the groundstrokes so Nadal is feeling more pression than he usually does on clay.

Thanks as well . Yeah i've seen very few clay court matches this week it all seems like they are playing on hardcourt.

It's rare to see so many clay matches where the winner (and a loser in a lot of cases this week) wins up winning 75%+ of their first serve points. There have been matches where a player is winning 80%+ of the points of there first serve, and that is a rare thing on red clay. Only allowing 2 or 3 BP's, going whole sets without allowing any chances...this tournament almost has nothing to do with the clay season. People said that Hamburg was a lot different than RG, but this is really different.

Nadal is playing much better now

ROGER FEDERER

the recipe is simple yet but extremely rare:buckets of athletic ability coupled with gallons of mental tenacity are the core ingredients that produce a Tiger Woods,a Michael Jordan...a Roger Federer

Good golly......I cannot believe I am saying this but this 2nd set between Nadal and Djerk is the most interesting set of tennis played all clay season.

If only RG would adopt such a clay court for this year

Sadly.........I have similar expectations........ Although, I wouldn't mind being surprised today. Roger's match can wait. Not to mention, I love watching Nadal's elevated level of play thanks to his injury
