Game, Set and Match for Federer?

Is it game, set and marriage for Roger Federer?

It’s not every day a couple goes diamond ring shopping in one of the world’s most exclusive hotels. But that’s exactly what tennis star Roger Federer and long-time girlfriend Miroslava Vavrinec were spotted doing at the brand-spanking-new Atlantis last weekend.

Mirka has plenty of rings on her fingers...so this is nothing new from Roger.
Surely they've already planned marriage for later in his career and they're sticking to it.

Federer's not so stupid that he'd get married at this crucial point in his career. They'll surely wait til it's all over, plenty of time for that.

They've been living like man and wife for about eight years now... do you really think it would make such a difference if they get 'officially' married now?

BTW, I don't think this thread belongs in GM...

That's probably why he took time off He's looking for a ring now so they can plan the wedding during the off season

I know what you're saying but marriage is a distraction and emotionally draining, which is a recipe for disaster for a top sportsmen. Some can deal with it, others can't. Better not to risk it if you ask me.

P.S. I followed the link from General Messages, I'm not going to become a regular poster in Federer's forum

Re: Game, Set and Match for Federer?

Gla someone started a thread about this because it's on the Mirka thread on RF.com.

I suppose we'll have to wait and see when Roger next plays to see if Mirka has a new ring on her finger adn if he announces anything on his site??

I hope they won't get married just yet. Sorry, I'm just being selfish.
