I think so, yes. It sort-of fits the image Nike wants to sell for him. It's the same curse of Rafa having to wear sleeveless and pirate pants all the time.

In all, it represents the way marketers (boy I hate those fellows!) think of the general public: as *shallow* more than anything else... unfortunately, they often are right about that.

Back on topic: I kinda like those shirts with the white collar. And the BLACK outfit, of course.

EDIT: thanks for posting, X!

Re: Roger's 2009 Aus Open outfit.

^No worries, to me it looks far too much like his clay season shirt of this year.

Why not a green, or orange or a purple? Why always blue blue blue?!

I think he looks much better with collars. In fact, most men do, imo!
We could do with a change from blue though, I agree.

As I consider that one of his best outfits EVER, I really don't mind.

Good question. Would love to see him in purple.

I like the collared shirts too. Just hope he's not sporting the UPS driver outfit at the US Open.

Re: Roger's 2009 Aus Open outfit.

I like collared shirts though I wish he would wear ones without collars sometime for a change.

I'm tired of blue too. But I must say the blue one during the clay season (not RG) was one of the best.
That shade was absolutely lovely
And the black one was just perfect

Thanks for posting it, Xristos

I like blue

Let's not talk history yet. He's still making it.

I don't care what he wears. He looks good in everything!

I am liking the red shirt, though. And yeah, no more blue!

I don't like it. I liked his AO 06 outfit best, with the bright green bandana, it was brilliant on him and brought out his eyes. The classy AO 07 outfit was also great.
