I have admitted it to you so many times and yet you make me say it again. I am a closet Fedtard. Those graceful ball bounces for serving got me from 2004 when I saw the Wimbledon final against Roddick

I don't understand how people could drool over Rafa's biceps when the Arm is so obviously superior Sadly some people will never understand that.

I've always thought at Wimbledon everything depends on Roger's form. If Roger's playing well I think he'll take out that prick Djoker no problem.

Basically you are saying that you are another one of those Fedals.

Need ideas for a new signature...

Wow. Crazy draw.

Isner AND Gulbis in Nadal's 16th.

Nadal has Stepanek, Gasquet and Murray too. Brutal draw.

Roddick has a great draw, landed in Davydenko's quarter so we should see Roddick in the finals.

Djokovic got Baghdatis, and Safin, but we shall see if he has to play any of them.

A tough draw for Roger, with Hrbaty to start (chance to turn a H2H around), and Djoko in the Semis.

Good draw for Fed. It should give him plenty of time to work into a good form. I'm really not worried about him at this event because I think he's going to be out on a mission to prove all these doubters wrong, especially Borg.

Re: *******Rolling in the Grass - A Wimbledon 2008 Thread!!*******

Two questions here.

1. Can Djokovic beat Safin?
2. Can Djokovic beat Baghdatis on Grass?

Those are his two toughest challenges. It's possible Federer won't have to face either Nadal or Djokovic because of their draws.

They met in the AO 2005, when Djoko was 18 and Safin pasted him 6-0 6-2 6-1.

Last year, Djokovic vs Baghdatis was: 7-6(4) 7-6(9) 6-7(3) 4-6 7-5

I better not be hearing any bragging from the Djerktards until Djokovic gets past Baghdatis.

Wow, I can't say what seems more far away. Safin's AO 2005 form, or Djoko's AO 2005 form.

Borg is not a doubter, he (just like the rest of them, humble champions) does not like seeing his records falling.

Re: *******Rolling in the Grass - A Wimbledon 2008 Thread!!*******

I'm glad that Murray and Nalbandian are not in Fed's quarter. Don't tell me that they've done nothing lately. I know that if they get to play Fed, they will show up, and both players are difficult match ups for him.

Soderling can be dangerous, considering that Fed himself noticed his worsened first serve return.

As for Jerk, he's somewhat an awkward mover (sliding)/volleyer on the surface. Fed of 2004-2006 would have explored these shortcomings, but nothing is guaranteed this year.

If you look at Fed's game on grass, he should be a favorite against the rest of the field on paper. But his head is in question. Also, when he dominated, he used to step up in the sf/f, this year ... well, we all saw it.
