Re: Rogi in Halle!

He likes Germany. It has been voted best event of the year for several years. The grass I think is exactly that of Wimbledon's.

Re: Rogi in Halle!

Now Rogi, time to shine on green grass! I'm expecting another no-loss grass record this year

Re: Rogi in Halle!

I've just realized that Coria can overtake Roger in the ATP CHAMPIONS RACE if Coria wins RG. All the more reason to cheer on Gaston

Re: Rogi in Halle!

First Tim would have to make his way to Ninja, second Ninja doesn't have a groin injury anymore like he did with Timmy in Wimbly 01. I would favor Tim in a match with Roger on grass because of his game and experience but favoring doesn't mean its a sure-bet.

Re: Rogi in Halle!

Why play in Queens, when he feels comfortable in Halle and gets looked after well and spends less time in England, good enough reasons to play in Halle.

Spends less time in england??? Is that a cheap shot? Halle is one of the most beautiful looking events and surroundings. You should take a look at it by going to its website. Players love Halle, even Pete loved it when he went there in his final year. Gerry Weber does a great job. He the opposite of Mattress Mac. A very hard working wealthy business man who doesn't think that putting lots of money into an event gives him the right to be an asshole.

It was more a joke that England thing, it's just around Wimbledon time it could be a bit much, so just getting there halfway through Nottingham would be good for Roger. Yes, I am very aware of Mr Weber and it's a very good tournament, though it's on grass and that's why I wouldn't go. The funny thing is that the year I had a chance to go big Marc Rosset won the event, so that was a bit sad to miss that.

Halle is the best prep for him and he enjoys it there and that's reason enough to continue playing there.

Re: Rogi in Halle!

Even if Roger loses the #1 in the champions race he would almost certainly regain it sometime during the grass season

Re: Rogi in Halle!

Just taken a look at the entry list for Halle, very strong field there this year. So a perfect tourney for him to prepare for his Wimbly defense.

Good luck Rogi!

Re: Rogi in Halle!

I know that WyverN, but won't it be fantastic that he remains #1 in both rankings for the whole year? Perfection should allow no flaw

Re: Rogi in Halle!

Yep Roger will be geeting match tough. I think he will do well at both but not sure if he will win both. I hope he does or at least one of them.

Hopefully, if he only had to win one,I hope that it is Wimbledon. Anyway, if Roger can not win it,I hope Tim will.
