Seriously now, Davidoff sure produces cigarettes (believe me, I'm a connaisseur ) but then again... they shouldn't put this over politically correct nonsense on Roger's shoulders...
Yeah it is pretty stupid considering consuming a Davidoff product is perfectly legal. I suppose it would be in the ATP's interest not to have tournaments sponsored by tobacco or alcohol companies, but the players shouldn't be caught up in this political nonsense.
And to think when the WTA tour started in 1971 it was called the Virginia Slims Circuit and up until 1994 was sponsored by Virginia Slims.
