Ferrer also close to him and Federer always plays good against him so I'd like to see that.
Quite honestly I could give a shit less about settling some "score" with Canas. Fed happened to run into Canas when Canas was on a "hot" streak and playing well and Fed was mentally some place else. I would love to see Roger be really aggressive the rest of the year. None of this defensive 'I can out grind you' shit.

Re: madrid

as courier once said about kafelnikov, it can be said of canas "he is just a blip on the radar compared to federer"

There are 10^11 stars in the galaxy. That used to be a huge number. But it's only a hundred billion. It's less than the national deficit! We used to call them astronomical numbers. Now we should call them economical numbers.

Re: madrid

Great draw. Hopefully Fed plays brilliant throughout the tournament (especially against Canas if they play).

I'm hoping for a 6:3, 6:2 score.

Great matches all around, JFC vs. Moya - ouch draw.
Im hopeing for 61 61.

I didnt see IW match but I saw Miami and that match was a joke. Feds should have won.

but Canas is even much more of a blip than Evgenij.

Seriously, that match from end of 2nd through to mid 3rd set was one of the best performances from Roger on hard court recently, much better than many matches he won...I didn't know how he managed to lose it in the end...

I doubt Canas can make it through Tursunov. If he does, then time for some serious revenge!

Good draw for Roger and I expect him to be in the final.

Another American.

When was the last time Roger lost to an American? Was it Agassi or his bleep against Roddick?
