Re: Wimbledon and US Open outfits.

The Wimbledon outfit reminds me of the togas the senators used to wear in ancient Rome. They were white with a purple stripe on the borders which set them apart from the ordinary citizens that had simply a white toga. Perhaps some classical inspiration there.

Re: Wimbledon and US Open outfits.

I like this shirt but I wish it came in colors other than white/grey. I wonder if Roger will have a jacket with that logo on the back?

I'm assuming these will be Roger's shoes for Wimbledon (or something close)?

Yes, I think Roger will be getting a new blazer for Wimbledon.

Re: Wimbledon and US Open outfits.

Thanks for the pictures Xristos, nice to see the new outfits are looking better than the lasts. On the other hand any outfits worn at wimby is a great outfit in my mind.

Anyone has any infos on the new jacket ? I can't wait for wimbledon to start after that dreadfully long clay season ... Especially since sport + has been showing wimbledon's greatest matchs like the final of 1981, reminded me how great grass court tennis can be

Pretty shirt. I'd buy one.

As for the USO outfits, I'm not sick of the blue, but I'm getting tired of Roger in the polo. Has he switched from that at all this year?

Re: Wimbledon and US Open outfits.

Roger mentions special shoes he will be wearing for W. So I assume then they will be different than the gold vapors sold on TW and elsewhere? Also, even though he was coy about his outfit all the reports in the Brit papers indicate he'll be walking out on court in a white suit (blazer and trousers). Should be interesting.
