Talented? As a doubles player, maybe. He has done next to nothing in singles though since he moved up from Juniors.

Ebden seems unbeatable right now. At least with the this level of competition. He was down 1-4 in the first set against Ito and fought back to win 7-6(2).

Groth is good, but I dunno.

A win over Ito isn't anything to get excited about. Ebden is doing well right now but I think Groth could take him. Good win for Blaz Rola. It will be interesting to see how he does against the more experienced Ebden.

ebden is solid on this level and this is enough for this kind of challenger, but i feel like he is the new lu lately

True.

Tho Ito has had a good history at this tournament (winner, semi, and finalist, I believe). What I found impressive is how Ebden fought back from 5-2 down while Ito served for the match. Ebden has a history of just giving up.
