It's amusing watching Smethurst play. Absolutely no control on his strokes. Poor man's James Ward, not that Ward is the epitome of success himself.

Maria is a disgrace. Lucking out another set from *3-5. Disgusting type of a player. Pushing mug.

RIP HENRY.

Re: Week 46: Champaign, IL, USA [Entry List]

I'm new to this Corrie guy, but I like him. Not the tallest player, but he makes up for it by being aggressive, having good movement and footwork, being strong, and laying good baseline shots. His forehand looks to be a bit erratic at times, and the low clearance he gets above the net is a double-edged sword, but otherwise, he looks to be more competent than his ranking suggests.

Yes I have seen Ward play, obviously. One prefers the backhand (Ward), one prefers the forehand, but they both have laughably pathetic control over their shots, especially when their opponents hit it powerfully at a good length.

Also, please learn to write properly. I had to spend the better part of five minutes deciphering this post.

Re: Week 46: Champaign, IL, USA [Entry List]

It is really a big shame that one of Groth or Marie will reach a Challenger QF. Both playeres are embarrassing. Marie is prob the worst player inside Top 500? I have never seen a player who is bad like this playing a CH R2. Groth can only serve, apart from that a blind ballbasher who tries to hit the ball as hard as he can. Most tries are ending in unreal errors.

Would be the final kill if Joshmug Mugton will bt. Rampras later on.

And with JP Smith another mug into the QF. And talented shotmaker like Singh lost to this mug. The results are a disgrace to tennis this week.

RIP HENRY.
