Ariel Behar is an uruguayan player, 23 year old, who plays manly double tournaments since 2011.
His doubles rank is rounding 200 now. This year he played lots of Challenger, and he usually gets in the qualys for singles.
Until last week in Montevideo his results werenīt good at all in singles, but las week in montevideo que lost against Pere Riba in the third set, and this week que defeated Pere in the first round, after defeating Pedro Souza and Marcelo Demoliner in the qualy.
Today, against Giraldo, he was very closed, but at the end que couldnīt keep the pace.
About his game, he has a very good first serve, and is good at the net. His forehan and backhand are pretty bad, usually using slice to try to reach the net. His second serve was not good enough, so in this tournaments he was playing with two first serves, making lots of double faults.
His performance was a tremendous surprise here in Uruguay.
