Re: ATP Challenger Tour finals

Clezar is definitely the best option from Brazil, whatever their management is. He is young and has had some good results lately, and he can give any one of these players a match.

Horacio Zeballos - Maximo Gonzalez - Eduardo Schwank - Carlos Berlocq - Diego Schwartzman - Facundo Bagnis - all the other Argentinos

Re: ATP Challenger Tour finals

Hopefully Bellucci's presence won't destroy the event once again. Clezar for the wild card

I'm looking for it and I can't find out any confirmation on your statement. Is there anybody sure of the deadline for the ChTF? I just presumed it would be the previous week just as with the WTF.

Re: ATP Challenger Tour finals

From the interview given by Nedovyesov (http://sapronov-tennis.org/?p=press&...erview&id=1780) at the Kremlin Cup:
...
Q: You are very close to that to get to the tournament of top eight players in the Challenger Seroes. Are you going to play in Brazil, if you get ?

A: Of course , I would like to play there , but it all depends on whether or not I 'll get into the top eight .

Q: After winning the challenger in Szczecin, you said that after Tashkent determine what the tournament will end this season to accomplish their goal - to get into the main draw of the Australian Open in 2014 ?

A: In fact, I still can not say exactly . All will become clear in the middle of next week , when there will be an invitation for the Challenger Tour finals, and if I do not get to this tournament , at the end of the season will play in the challengers in Eckental and Ortisei .
(Google translation with some corrections by myself)
=====

So the Brazil line-up will be determined during next week basing on the ranking of Monday of October 21.

Who are two reserved players? They aren't mentioned on the event site http://www.challengerfinals.com.br/n...-classificados

Particularly PCB now I see why 'Sombrerero loco' told me that the players didn't care. Too bad indeed.

Re: ATP Challenger Tour finals

Guilherme is having a great run in Bogota, hopefully this will boost him into stepping up his game and playing as well as he can in the ATP Challenger Finals. I talked to him last week and he was very excited about it, said it would help him reach his goal of finishing the year inside the top 150. Now, with his semifinal in Bogota, he is already in the top 160, only a win away from reaching his goal.

Bright future for him, have practiced with him for two years... I wish he would play a doubles tournment as my partner so we could get a WC, hahahaha

Re: ATP Challenger Tour finals

If I had to order them based on how likely they are to win, I'd say something like this:

1. Volandri
2. Ungur
3. Gabashvili
4. Nedovyesov
5. Gonzalez
6. Clezar
7. Martin
8. Huta Galung

It's a shame that the players I like the most are least likely to win it.
