poor barton, had an impressive moment in the beginning of the season, but barely winning any matches after that, and injured most of the time also

Blake Mott (ATP820) comes out swinging freely against a poorly serving Nick Kyrgios (ATP178) and causes the upset of the day (or tournament) by taking out the seeded player, with a 63 75 win.
Is this the highest ranked player Mott has beaten to date?

Yes. The previous one was Brydan Klein (233) who was beaten at China futures in April.
Blake is 17yo only! I remember Sharapova chose him to practice with at AO in January
