Re: Week 37 : Sevilla (Entry List)

Ward came back from 2-4 down in the final set. He has defended the QF points

Re: Week 37 : Sevilla (Entry List)

what a heart and what a fighter wardy is. i mean, he was also 5-3 up in the second, got broken, but managed to break again and take the set. and then in the third set comes back from *4-2 down, amazing

Re: Week 37 : Sevilla (Entry List)

You really think it's great? I would say it's bad for challenger level standards.
Anyway Olivo is really trying to choke this one
Had *5-3 30-0 and easy putaway which he played directly to ward. than 2 or 3 match points on his serve. In the the next game he had 0-40 and another mp advantage which he also fails to embrace. Really needs to work on his mental side...

I disagree with you. He almost collapsed it here, and then found a way to win in the tiebreak. Earlier this year, in Salinas, he played a match against Gianluca Naso. Renzo was down 6-3 in the third set tiebreak and won. Physically he is also very fit, I think his problem is just putting the ball back in play and not being aggressive enough.
