this would be really bad news, but at least you have 2 challengers(i think) this yer, being none the last years. there were 3 challengers in portugal, but 1 got cancelled i think?

Exactly. We have Guimarães and Porto (September). We had Lisbon but due to economical problems was cancelled. I hope, at least, we have Porto next year again.

Oh, Gaia (Portuguese city really near to Porto) will be the European Capital of sport in 2014 and there's a big tennis club there. Hope they'll organize something next year!

LOL, didn't knew about that. Now do we have a european capital of sport every year? If I am not mistaken Braga was in 2012.

Not that I'm complaining of course

First WC goes to Frederico Silva. No surprises here. First Challenger ever for Kiko. Not even played in qualies before

It's Frederico Silva but one of his nicknames it's Kiko.

Well, Frederico Silva will probably play doubles with João Sousa too, I'll be there to watch, I hope. :P

In Portugal, Kiko is to Frederico, like Nole is to Novak in Serbia, or Javi is to Javier in Spain.

There is also Fredericos known by Fred too. Like Frederico Gil, for example. In my point of view, I think "Kiko" is more childish, but that can change depending the perspective of each person, of course.
