Re: Week 30: Guimaraes, Portugal [Entry List]

How can somebody like Artunedo? What a nasty player, really.

Copil played some crap tennis on the 2nd set and wasn't going for the points on the 3rd, his serve made the difference. João has his chances today, played some superb (!) tennis for his hardcourt qualities. But he must gives a lot of credit to the crowd, just amazing. They had to close the entrys because it was completely full:

Too bad Cipo

Why is Artuñedo a nasty player?

Wtf? What Artunedo did yesterday is completely different of what João Sousa does. Artunedo won more than 5 points with balls touching the net and never (!) apologized to Copil. At 1-4 on the final set SIMULATED an injury and wasted more than 5 minutes for the medical time out, way more than the legal time. With that Copil lost his head and almost lost his match. In the end Artunedo didn't greeted with the refferee.

Besides that, that forehand, omg, so awful. But loved his backhand.

Does somebody knew what happen to Copil? Joao said in the speach that he was feeling very bad for him, in a way that it sounded Copil had some extra tennis issues. He (Sousa) even went to hug him in the middle of his (Sousa) speach, as it shows in this photo and the video.

Re: Week 30: Guimaraes, Portugal [Winner: Joao SOUSA]

Well i know that Marius' grandfather died 1 month ago and he was very affected by that as he was a very important person in his life, giving him a lot of support in life generally and regarding tennis especially and maybe he wanted to win a title for him and that's why he was so nervous and sad in the end. Other than that, i can't find any explanaiton. I don't think it's an injury as if it would've been something serious i think he would've retired so he wouldn't risk something even worse
