Re: Week 27 : Todi (Entry List)

Usual stuff, top WC seed wins an obligatory round, tanks in the next round, here just to get some matches on clay after grass season.

Albert is off to Bastad.

Ramos must have lacked motivation or have been absolutely dreadful.

Fabbiano is a fighter and I respect that, but Ramos on clay is a much better player.

Huge chance for Giraldo to play the final and maybe win here.

CooCoo, do you think Fabbiano stands a chance against Giraldo if he wins against Martin? Last time I thought Fabbiano will lose straight sets he won stright sets, but this time I saw Giraldo play and I like what I saw, normally he shouldn't have any problems to get into the final right? Solid service game for Santi from what I saw.

I probably favor Fabbiano's opponent in 95% of cases, but this week he is happy to prove me wrong. Giraldo hasn't been in great form, so an upset seems possible, but I must admit I didn't watch his matches this week so I can't speak to that. Fabbiano does work hard and retrieves a lot of balls, so he might succeed in inflating Giraldo's UE count.

But, yes, I expect Giraldo to win the SF (but to lose to either Riba or Lorenzi).

Thank you. We'll see how things will turn out as Fabbiano won against Martin. Even though his win against Ramos cost me a lot of money I have to hand it to the guy he really plays well.
