Re: Week 26 : Marburg (Entry List)

I don't know most of the WC, are they young/promising players ?

I just know that Puetz was also attending college in the US and made a couple of results last year indoors...

Re: Week 26 : Marburg (Entry List)

Yeah Puetz is also having quite a good season this year with 3 Futures titles. Next week he will be around 250 so a new high for him.

Marterer is a young German talent. 18 years old. Hasn't really had outstanding results on the Pro-Tour but is a decent junior. Ranked around 20 at the moment and was in the last 3 Grand Slams in the SF or F in doubles.

Schulz was a really good junior. His carreer high there was 10. He was in the Semi of Roland Garros ( beating Tomic and Clezar ) and in the Quarters of Wimbledon losing to Tomic in 3. But already having turned 21 he hasn't made a huge impact on the Pro Tour, won a few doubles Futures I think but that's all.

Lenz was also a decent junior. He even won the US Open doubles junior title with Kern but on the Pro Circuit he has just played irregularely and since last fall he is attending College in the States playing for Baylor. Has had a good freshman year over there and now on his "vacation" he is playing this tournament.

lenz used to be one of my favourites juniors. its sad he decided not to play the itf tour since last 2 years...something common in the last years though. so im happy he will play here with a wc ))
