He has plenty of skills but tennis is a tough game when you are as short and as slightly built as he is. That being said I will admit that Sombrerero is a little OTT in his praise of Josh's ability.

Re: Week 23: Nottingham -1 (Entry List)

of course he ISN'T the worst player who is playing on atp tour level but his ranking is too high compared with his skills and results. he isn't good enough to play atp challenger or even on a higher level regulary but everybody knows that brits are playing very decent on the grass. better than they will play the rest of the year. same for guys like rice or thornley, both without a big talent (maybe serve) but of course they will have a couple of good results in the next weeks.

btw, i know its off topic, but what happened to chris eaton?

wtf are you on about. Grass doesn't really suit Milton's game and as for Rice, he just won 2 futures on hard court.

Goodall is probably the only Brit whose ranking is significantly higher because of the grass court season and you could probably say that this has been the case with Bloomfield for several years. No other Brits have disproportionately boosted their rankings on a consistent basis through grass court results.

Re: Week 23: Nottingham -1 (Entry List)

i didn't say that they boosted their rank because of the grass season, in general you can say that brits are playing their best tennis between june and july on grass. james ward, chris eaton, josh goodall or jamie baker (won a set against kohli and was a tough opponent for roddick). last year they played well but like shit before and after the grass.

this guy probably never saw milton playing, he is just trolling like he did sometimes before
grass is probably milton´s worse surface, even ahead of clay

well im just a big fan of him. but i really think he is talented. its not that easy getting to the next level when physically you lack many things... but he is talented and is a complete player. its not like if we were talking about some player ranked around top 1000 at 25 y.o., he has been near top 300 for years. thats not bad at all

Re: Week 23: Nottingham -1 (Entry List)

I really admire Sombrerero loco for sticking with and supporting his favorite players even if they mount to nothing. Better than the people who abandon their players b/c they struggle to make it to the top of the game.

Rhyne Williams
Brian Baker Welcome Back
Jared Donaldson

Re: Week 23: Nottingham -1 (Entry List)

Huge win for Lloyd Glasspool over Dan Cox, massive upset, didn't see that coming! Lloyd has played 3 main draw matches in Futures events since August 2012. This was his first match in 2013. Awful loss for Cox.
