haha, I just couldn't believe how tight he's playing.

had a point for a double break lead in the second set and got progressively worse after failing to take it.

Re: Week 18: Tallahassee (Entry List)

So to recap of the stuff I watched today, Donald Young had tough sledding with the Venus serve a bit but eventually overcame it and got through, he was in a good mood post match, chatting with what I believe was his dad on a park bench for like an hour.

Zverev and Klahn won easily, Klahn's opponent Nico Barrientos had to call the trainer in the 2nd set.

Odesnik was actually rather well behaved today, he needed 3 sets and took his time to beat Molchanov in what was a pretty back and forth match, but it was Molchanov that was losing his composure, yelling and screaming in Ukrainian at his girlfriend almost every other point. He also hurled his racquet into the fence after being broken.

Polansky was in a good mood today, Bozoljac was out of sorts against Dancevic (Dancevic won). Harrison played a tight first set with Johnson but then Johnson when off the rails and just fell apart, he is a joke on clay honestly, slipping and sliding all over.

Same applies to Jack Sock, hit the ball fine but his footwork was embarrassing on the clay, stumbling and tripping trying to move side to side.

Smyczek got through easily enough.

And lastly the best match of the day was Arguello-Carleton. Facundo is also very much a monologuing player, kept yelling in Spanish and talking to his coach. He seemed tired (and it was scorching hot), they were both ripping the ball but Arguello had issues controlling his groundstrokes at some points.

That Reid Carleton kid is pretty good, he hits the ball well and he seems to fight for points, not Arguello level but he hung in there for 2 tight sets, quite suprised.

The Jeong kid from Korea is also legit, Russell was just out of sorts today and he was on point, painting the lines and retrurning well.

It was a mediocre match and no way was Jeong painting the lines The rallies were never-ending because neither player was willing to take any risks. Jeong was better than I thought he would be, but Russell should have been able to send him packing 3-6 3-6.

1: good fight from Taro

2: yes and no.. Jeong still beat a better player. Russell was out of sorts though, at the end there he yelled "it's so much different than last week!" at himself for some reason, so something was aloof.
