Re: Week 17 : Savannah (Entry List)

Does anybody know why Massu retired from his match? Looked at the draw sheet and it was blank.

On a side note, wondering if retirement from the game is coming soon. The few times I've had a live feed to watch his match at Challengers...the spirit just seems drained out of him.

Pulled groin. He said after the match in a post match interview he isn't close to being done and wants to keep playing these futures/challengers to work his ranking back up. Sometimes thats easier said than done.

Re: Week 17 : Savannah (Entry List)

Wayne Odesnik is the most disgusting person in tennis. The guy takes a point penalty when he is standing there ready to receive because he just refused to play, then he obviously tanks the last few games of the match.

Honestly, I would not be the slightest bit upset if he never played a tennis match again in his life.

Canada Pospisil - Dancevic - Peliwo

Crazies Dolgopolov - Fognini - Janowicz - Gulbis

Young Guns Thiem - Vesely - Coppejans

Odesnik has always been a sore loser. Again didn't shake the umpire hand. But I guess he'll grind out that Roland Garros WC somehow during the next week.

If Odesnik gets that WC I`ll be sick. Thats 28k just for flying to Paris and getting destroyed by a real player

Yea, this isn't anything new, he behaves worse at challengers than he does at ATP events for sure.

I've seen him curse out a group of school children and force them to leave the stands, curse after every point at the lines judges and umpire, yell at the umpire and give him the finger, disrespect his opponents etc.

He also tripped my mother once at a challenger because he refused to move out of the walkway.

He just scowls off in the corner all the time.

yeah 115, my bad. Realistically speaking he won the WC as soon as he won Savannah but mathematically 3 players are still in it...

I said earlier on the forum that I could tell he was trying - we say more of a "sh" sound on the 'll' and 'y' as opposed to other Spanish countries say as if there is no ll (like Argueio).

But he has to much American accent, sounds like he says Aruillo - so he is not succeedding!

Horacio Zeballos - Maximo Gonzalez - Eduardo Schwank - Carlos Berlocq - Diego Schwartzman - Facundo Bagnis - all the other Argentinos

Thanks.

Thinking that by saying that, he's trying to convince himself as much as the interviewer. Being a fan of his, I want to believe that he will make the long climb back (I'd be happy with within top 100 before he calls it a day at this point) but the matches I've seen make me think that's not going to happen.
