Marco is having some good results this year and this SF result is helping him to find himself in as a stable player in the top 200 until mid April

Average claycourter. Thiemo was subpar and then again never really in danger of losing.

Re: Week 10 : Santiago (Entry List)

Bagnis Def Trungelliti 6-2 5-7 7-6

Pretty poor effort by both players, to be honest. Bagnis was serving for the match in the 2nd at 5-4 and then lost the next 5 games in a row. Then Marco was serving for the match at 5-3 and even had 2 MP's before Bagnis broke and ended up winning faily easily in the TB.

Neither player looked good and both of their 2nd serves were WTA level.

Canada Pospisil - Dancevic - Peliwo

Crazies Dolgopolov - Fognini - Janowicz - Gulbis

Young Guns Thiem - Vesely - Coppejans

Re: Week 10 : Santiago (Entry List)

Salinas all over. Thiemo going double break down then grinding it to level, just to play a pathetic TB.

Re: Week 10 : Santiago (Entry List)

Broken back, wasted a BP chance in next game, now breaking a racket

7-6 5-4*

Too passive, probably will get broken now serving to stay in the match.

Re: Week 10 : Santiago (Entry List)

Deserved in the end.

Sad to see that Theimo can't realize whole match he needs to play just a bit more aggressive and play on his opponents backhand more.

He should have finished each set before TB.
In the first set he had 6-5 15-0* 2nd serve with the momentum on his side (had won three consecutive games) and in the 2nd had a break point to go two breaks up.
