I disagree. He's doing exactly the right thing, playing Indian Wells. His game is pretty interchangeable with the hard-courts, and the best option is to go and play with the best players in the world. It will all be valuable experience.

Besides, he qualified easily in the desert, so will immediately get a chance in the main draw.

ok top 100 is a bold prediction, i guess so many players look like they have potential to get to top 100 when we see their one good match, while they dont have consistency to really achieve it

top 150 looks very realistic for him though, even after the loss to riba

I saw him in ATP Buenos Aires against Almagro and I found that he is still far away of top 20 players. I think he is still a CH level player and needs to get points in CH events in order to raise close to the top 70 an exchange in that way his time on the CH tour and play some ATP tournaments. I think this is a transition year for him until he can get use to ATP level players and meanwhile earn points enough to secure his position in the top 100.

Re: Week 10 : Santiago (Entry List)

Great victory for Lama against Pashanski. Good victory for Del Bonis against Riba too (inspite of he is trying to return back to his level).

Here in Chile he doesn't make a lot of noise at news like Capdeville or Garín, at least as I know. Until weeks ago was out of top 700. WC at ATP Viña this year, trained with Nadal there, 2nd round at Salinas Challenger reaching his current position, I think this QF at Santiago is his best result.

Re: Week 10 : Santiago (Entry List)

Disappointing result for Garin. But good tournament anyway for him
Lama is doing well, last week he already beated Pashanski, happy he did it again.

Very very bad loss for Clezar considering the scoreline...
