Re: Week 10 : Santiago (Entry List)

This is a pity that Pella didn't play Salinas and is not playing here either. Inspite of he spent some months in the top 100 (he returned back this week) he should focus on CH events and play ATP tournaments when he has the chance to do it. I believe he is making a mistake not playing these events.

Re: Week 10 : Santiago (Entry List)

agree kovalik can be top 100, he improved so much in 2 years when i didnt see him, so it means he'd work hard

still much to improve: regularity

as for pella... he needs to learn new things, if he plans to spend career playing south american challengers, he'll end up being dutra silva

he'll be playing mexican challengers now from what i know. some good players signed up there too

Comedy is a drama that happens to other people

Re: Week 10 : Santiago (Entry List)

I've been yesterday on the Stade Français, the club where the tournament is played.

More than 500 people, which is plenty considering here is business day and had over 30ºC.

Garin did not play as well as it did in the ATP Vina, but still ran over to $borowitz, which does not have a defined style of play. I've also seen De Bakker, he defeated Minar without problems. He will be a tought opponent for Garin.

Kovalik Top 100? Really? Haven't seen him play but that seems a surprising prediction, even if he has been doing well.

Nico out in 3. He was up 3-0 in the second then it all seemed to go downhill from there.

Aww, too bad, I think he showed some promise before already that he might actually raise ranking this year to challenger level at least, since giving pretty much anyone at least good challenge but doesn't look good right now since no wins coming his way sfter all

Re: Week 10 : Santiago (Entry List)

Really a pity that Kovalik lost so easily with Riba. Wodering if Pere Riba is bsck and the stage of his tennis. Good to see Pashanski beating Joao Souza (according to what I saw in Buenos Aires he was not playing bad at all). I would like to see what Lama can do against Pashanski now (good test for him). The same for Garin against De Bakker.
