Horacio d. Andreozzi 76 46 62. Match very like yesterday. Couldnt watch it but will be watching tomorrow vs. Elias. Hora should win but Elias beat him here last year, so we will see.

Horacio Zeballos - Maximo Gonzalez - Eduardo Schwank - Carlos Berlocq - Diego Schwartzman - Facundo Bagnis - all the other Argentinos

Incredible fighting from Souza. Blew 2 set points on Da Silva's serve at 5-4* 40-15* then saved a BP at 5-5 30-40 and a match point in the TB on Da Silva's serve at *6-4.

Final set here we go.

Re: Week 1 : São Paulo (Entry List)

In the final set Da Silva had 1-0* and 40-15* but didn't take his chances; Souza then broke at 4-4 to serve for the match but choked at 30-30. Souza had 40-0 at *5-6 and was brought back to deuce before winning his 5th game point to take it to the tie-break.

Da Silva had a mini-break early in the TB at 2-0* and held on from there to win 7-5.

Hora 63 22. Playing pretty well, serving absolutely great. Having trouble locating backhand (nothing new), but good play. Keep it going later in match.

Horacio Zeballos - Maximo Gonzalez - Eduardo Schwank - Carlos Berlocq - Diego Schwartzman - Facundo Bagnis - all the other Argentinos

Re: Week 1 : São Paulo (Entry List)

One set all. This has been up until now a match of the servers. Just appart from a stupid game by Gastao in the first, and this last game of second set (great backhand passing-shot and a drive-volley UE by Zeballos did the trick). Gastão much more solid in the second set! Go Pepe!

Gastao was serving so well, but choked in his last service game, with his first double-falt in two sets at Deuce...still, a match of the servers.

Horacio d. Elias 63 46 75. Has not been a very good week for him, but manages to get in the final. Always good to win at beginning of year, when your not at best tennis. Vamos Horacio!

Horacio Zeballos - Maximo Gonzalez - Eduardo Schwank - Carlos Berlocq - Diego Schwartzman - Facundo Bagnis - all the other Argentinos

Single final. Zeballos bt R. Dutra Silva 7-6/6-2
Great way to start the season for Horacio. If I´m not wrong this victory is going to allow him to jump in the rankings close to 66.
