Such a strong season from Alund but one could tell Pella's already in need of taking a break and enjoying vacations

Re: Week 45 : Guayaquil (Entry List)

Ruben should be clear for the top 100 now. If he wins tomorrow it's assured. So huge for him, that was a very big win for him vs Cabal.

Re: Week 45 : Guayaquil (Entry List)

Guido Pella should come back next year and be really positive. He's got a big 2013 in him, I believe. I don't want to overhype him, but I'm expecting him to become a really solid ATP clay-courter like Ramos or Andujar. He can also play on hard.

For those who said Pella wants holidays, he still have the ATP Challenger Tour Finals, where his presence is confirmed

But if he wants to quit, I wouldn't mind as Gastão is the #1 alternate

Leo is really a points whore (Vulture it's just a dumb word "created" by Mug Lenders). Disgusting to see a player with his ability playing cheap challengers at this time of the season.

Re: Week 45 : Guayaquil (Entry List)

He had to defend a lot of points from this time last season and his top 100 place wasn't fully secure so it was wise for him to play this swing. He isn't winning many matches on indoor hard.

imo it was the right thing to do, play this swing, mainly because of his recent level of play. His confidence doesn't seem too high atm and his overall game nowhere near were it used to be... very inconsistent, even worse returning than usual and just not clicking therefore struggling and losing against player he should routine. He's pretty hard with himself when things are not going his way so motivation and confidence are very important, staying healthy too let's not forget this season hasn't been injury free at all.

Most epic match I have watched in a while. Buscemi is an absolute legend.
4 hours and 7 minutes of clay court challenger tennis at its best

Re: Week 45 : Guayaquil (Entry List)

Rubén choked badly... *5-3 40-15 in the 3rd set and ended up losing. So much fighting for nothing
