Well a slight bit more variation, the real difference is he has a great serve and bashes better.

I probably did and I was wrong. He's not ATP worthy but he's better than almost all challenger players.
So does this mean he's not top 50 worthy?

He wasn't better today.

So Copil is playing Rosol tomorrow, Copil isn't a ball basher, but is an attacking player, Rosol is a ballbasher though, but he's ranked lower than Kamke right now, I would have thought Rosol would be right up there with Chardy as a top ballbasher.

Re: Week 44 : Geneva (Entry List)

Rosol is slow and has an average serve for someone his height. Plus he's the ultimate basher, moreso than Kamke or Chardy.

Do you see Rosol as a top 100 guy?

Rosol holds a 2-0 record over Copil, but with Copil's recent decent play, do you think he has a better chance this time and do you see Copil as a future top 100?

When he's on, he's a top 100 player. When he's off, which is most of the time, he isn't.

These courts are really fast, so Copil can win this match if he serves great. Copil is even less consistent than Rosol is but he can develop into a top 100 player with more refinement in his baseline game.

Gicquel def. Bedene 6-3 7-6(2)

Not a surprise. Marc lost three first serve points. He's showing that he does still have some life in him.

Pospisil is not impressive to me. I don't see the big talent a lot of people here think he is. But I've said that several times before.

His serve needs work.

Bubka's baseline game is mediocre.

I expect Rosol to break and get the win now here.

This match is very even. Looks like a final set tiebreak.

Re: Week 44 : Geneva (Entry List)

Copil def. Rosol 4-6 7-6(3) 7-6(1)

Rosol played two poor tiebreaks and Copil served well + was aggressive when it mattered. Good win from him from a break down in the third.
