Re: Week 43 : Buenos Aires (Entry List)

Alund def. Robert 2-6 6-4 6-3

Robert served at 35%, poor serving destroyed his chance of winning.

Weather looks better today, at least the sun is out now. Kavcic up a break seems to be moving ok.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Week 43 : Buenos Aires (Entry List)

Kavcic pretty solid so far and the back is holding up which is the most important thing.

Kavcic 6-2

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Bagnis is not a good player.

Those couple of falls he had in the first set have definitely affected him.

Kavcic 6-2 6-1

Good comeback performance, just very solid which is all that was needed.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

OMG Collarini

He is so bad. No serve, no inside-out FH, it's a miracle that he managed to beat mighty Nico Massu

Supporter of french tennis school

I really don't understand him, just when it seems like he's going to gather the momentum needed with solid wins, then comes the routine loss... He's got crazy talent in my eyes, can generate awesome power from both forehand and backhand (DTL BH deadly) and just need to improve the serve a bit, cut the errors and you've got a super dangerous player with clear top 100 potential.

Are you talking about Collarini? If so Imo the lack of power is his main problem. Also lack of inside-out forehand is a huge problem for the offensive player.
TBH I don't know what awesome power you are writing about
Really, don't see him as top100 potential, there is no variety in his game.

That's why I said he has the ability to generate that power. From the times I've seen him play, looks like he has a lot of problems to find that right timing to do it and either he engages in 'strategies' were he's mainly ballbashing or starts playing with uber spin and slower to cut his UE count and gets tagged constantly. From his matches in Manta I could tell he definitely goes way more for his shots on hard courts and see some flashes of Verdasco's game in his, in both good and bad ways!

yeah, I watched him in Manta and he seemed to have a lot of natural power but no brain at all.

Dutra Da Silva def. Aranguren 7-5 4-6 6-1

Another 3-setter for the Brazilian.
