Re: Week 37: Seville (Entry List)

Strange pauses took place in the double match Ciric/Pashanski vs Konecny/Nedovyesov. After these CZE/UKR team was broken in the end of 2nd set and lost the TB. Does anybody know anything? I would not wish anybody was injured

"The Spaniard also complained about the special yellow clay this tournament uses."

I agree with Robredo. When i watch a stream i can't even see the ball on this ugly clay

I was just reading a bit about the clay. They're only tournament to use Albero Yellow. I had never heard of this before and when I typed it into google one of the first results that came up was this http://www.travelsignposts.com/desti...-soil_AJP_5443

How does the clay play compared to normal clay? Any major differences in speed, bounce or player movement?

Re: Week 37: Seville (Entry List)

Kazakhstan had yellow clay challengers.

Agruello took the 2nd set and then he retired not sure what happened.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Week 37: Seville (Entry List)

Yellow clay is made from albero which is common in Andalusia, it's the stuff that you see in the grounds of bullrings and gardens.

It's like an organic limestone which compacted can be used in construction as well.

DGT 6-3.

He is a couple steps above Marti at the moment, as long as DGT keeps his composure then he should get this done in 2.

Seeing as he's playing soon, here would seem a good place to ask, what is Nedovyesov like as a player? I only ask as I saw him take on Stebe in Astana (I think?) and he seemed to employ a serve and volley game which then struck me as being odd given that he's seemingly a clay court player as he's been ignoring the hard court tournaments?

Any info would be greatly received.

DGT 6-3 6-2

Daniel served very well he seems to time his peak for the Seville Challenger these days.

DGT taking care of business this week showing he is the yellow clay master and the forehand is getting plenty of spin.

6-2 6-3 over Pashanski, just another victim.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
