Re: Week 27 : Arad (Entry List)

Watch Brands fixing this Seriously Mergea playing singles?

Copil and Crivoi both have tough draws. Maybe Hanescu will have a good run here. I'll go with Hanescu or Teixeira for the title

Re: Week 27 : Arad (Entry List)

The question is, is Brands finally making the most out of his seeding in these tournaments.
Actually a must-win QF for him and he should beat guys like Teixeira, Copil and Devilder too.

Retiring at 5-7 0-5 down is pretty fucked up and, on the contrary IMO, hard to defend. If it's not a terrible injury, at least let your opponent ace you 4 times in a row or something like that if you want to get out of the court ASAP. If it's a very serious injury and you can barely move or have some serious trouble walking or whatever, it is understandable but I would say that was not the case since the player involved has history of retiring being match point down

Per aspera ad astra

Gard does not play tennis to make a living out of it, he just likes to travel, make friends and visit the world. He had a decent career, won some futures and reached top 300, so there are far worse players than him you can call losers.

My guess is Gard retired so that people who placed bets on him won't lose their money and maybe you placed a bet on Androic and that's why you are so upset

Also, Andrej Martin losing 0-6 4-6 to Luncanu after winning against Verdasco
