Yang is not that bad on clay He won RG juniors back in the day.

Udomchoke and Wang are much more beatable than him, imo.

I think that Nando just will come to Prostejov for taking money, hi will play probably on 50%..week after Prostejovi he is playing in Halle on grass, it will be his priority. Im looking 4ward to Halle, I will see Nando there for sure

Yes, I know, but Yang hasn't really done much on the Challenger Tour. But you're right, the other two are easier opponents.

Re: Week 23: Prostejov ( Entry List)

Florian Mayer is such a douchebag.
Instead of traveling to Germany and playing on Grass he will waste his time with a CH on Clay one week before Halle.
Hope he will lose first round match in Halle...this idiot!

Other 3 were already posted.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Week 23: Prostejov ( Entry List)

Hopefully Mayer loses R1 as well as Fernando. I would like it if Stepanek loses early too but given he's a home guy, it's a little less of a priority.

Also GL to whoever plays Cacashkin. I'm a bit surprised Andreev is still on the list but hopefully his shoulder doesn't give out.

It's not like it's a long journey from Prostejov to Halle This way he can get some money. I doubt he expects to make that deep a run in Halle anyway.

Distance between Halle and Prostejov are 1000 Km. So it is not a short-trip, also he has to move to a bigger aiport there and then fly to Dortmund or Hannover because Halle has no aiport.
Halle is one of the biggest tournaments in his home country, it does not matter if he will make second round or final there, he will play next tournaments on Grass and there is no reason why he should play this Challenger on Clay because now GRASS Season will start. He could play Nottingham but he decided to play in Czech on Clay...Main reason for that is that he is an idiot. No question about that. He will lose first or secound round here and then same thing in Halle because he has no self-confidence and no preperation on Grass.

The trip really isn't that bad though.

Clay is Flo's best surface, so it's understandable he wants to stay on it. Plus he is lacking form and presumably confidence. When that is the case, it's normal for players to play a Challenger.

Where it make sense to stay on clay if he will play the next 4 weeks on Grass!? No sense. I talked to a physio from Benni Becker two days ago and no one can understand this decision. Davis Cup tie against Australia will be on Clay but in Sept. and not in June or July...Olympics also on Grass and not on Clay.

And trip from Projestov to Halle is not that good. You have to move to Prague, then fly to Germany and from Dortmund or Hannover travel to Halle...

Re: Week 23: Prostejov ( Entry List)

Mayer doesn't like playing too much on grass, he said that himself. One tournament before Wimbledon is good enough for him.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

You lose one day travelling. That is the case for almost any trip from one tournament to another in Europe. It's not like he has to fly to Newport the next week.

Of course you are right that Mayer's decision shows that he doesn't take Halle seriously. But that doesn't mean it is an idiotic decision.

Re: Week 23: Prostejov ( Entry List)

Mayer has to defend a Quarterfinal in Halle, would be great to see him losing to a Qualifier in the first round because he has no preperation on the surface.
He will start in Projestov on Tuesday or Wednesday. If he will win his first round match he will play on Thursday and then on Friday...he will have on day to practice on Grass before playing his first match.
This guy is crazy.
