Re: Week 23, Caltanissetta, Italy (Entry List)

I really don't get Schoorel results this year. I read he was injured, ok but why is he still playing ? This week looked good so far, but his scoreline against Cervantes is disastrous...maybe a tank to play Halle qualies ?

It's not about Schoorel. It's actually Cervantes raising! Well, at least on challenger level.
Cervantes showed even some sings on ATP level, plus not to many player's are winning challenger's
from quallies to title... Like Baker did

Re: Week 23, Caltanissetta, Italy (Entry List)

Elias has some good weapons, particularly his forehand, he hits his forehand hard and has good variety with it. He's got a nice slice BH too. He's inconsistent but talented. Gonzalez got tired in the end, only won eight points on serve in five service games in the third set.

Tommy is playing a strong match today, possibly the best of the week. Solid and consistent, hitting his forehand well.

Robredo def. Cervantes 6-4 6-2

Elias vs Robredo final. Tommy should take it, if he plays as he did today, he'll secure the final and be too solid for Elias.

Tommy really stepped his game up the final two matches, got better as the tournament progressed, which is exactly what you want to see. Great job winning the title in his first tournament of his comeback!
