Re: Week 23: Nottingham ( Entry List)

Lmao...Beck...Pure fuckin comedy...And he is supposed to be a grass GOAT? My ass...Glad De Schepper took out the old, irrelevant trash...Good for him and the tournament...Beck, get a brain, seriously dude...I said it a few days ago and I was right; Beck is old news..not relevant anymore...A plummet down the rankings soon(from the looks of this mess and the grass court points he has to defend from last year) should finish him off

Re: Week 23: Nottingham ( Entry List)

wow Beck...losing to a lumbering servebot with no ground game to speak of. Although beck wasn't exactly impressive lately too, to put it mildly. Maybe he's trully declining and injuries are slowly ruining his career.

De Schepper can play on grass, it's not a surprise at all. Especially with the serve and the way the courts are playing during the opening couple of days.

Mannarino def. Soeda 6-4 4-6 6-2

Strong result for Adrian.

De Schepper does have a game that translates to grass, but Karol shouldn't be getting broken and struggle on serve the way he was and, quite frankly, it's a perfect match-up for Karol. His return should neutralize De Schepper's serve. Very disappointed in him.

Re: Week 23: Nottingham ( Entry List)

Becker was down 6-7 0-2 against Bemelmans but is now up 6-7 7-5 2-0 and totally outplaying him.
It's a shame it's raining and the match has stopped. I wonder wether they'll be able to continue today.
Come on, Benni!

Re: Week 23: Nottingham ( Entry List)

beck was in control of his match but got very very frustrated over some calls, especially in the game he lost to get broken in the 2nd set.

De Schepper's served big and his slice works well on the grass.

Mannarino has the most erotic grunt ever, it sounds like he is on the point of ejaculation everytime he hits the ball lol. hits short swing backhand that is very flat did him well in his match and i got a pic with him.

Re: Week 23: Nottingham ( Entry List)

Some really tough matches today! Great win for Adrian against Soeda, who is pretty good on grass.

Izak finally had a decent scoreline. He likes the grass and has qualified for Wimbledon before, so hopefully this close match against Zopp is a sign of better things to come.

Quite the contrary, Marchenko had nothing for the tennis education: born in the family of engineers in small industrial town, no good courts, no partners, no coaches. He recalled that many years he had only the tennis wall as a partner. However he demonstrated good sportmanship character and had some successes as a junior and was supported financially by simple people of his town in very hard first years of our new state. He obtained professional coach support too late when he formed his crooked style (mainly as a tenacious defender with stable but weak service) and his fans should have strong nerves to watch his matches with their ups and downs. Other side, as for me it's absolutely impossible to connect such words as tanking and tricks with Marchenko. He was great fighter upto summer 2010... I don't understand what Pierre Gautier had made with Illya. Fortunately, they separated...
Thanks for that! Very interesting and informative.
