Re: Week 20 : Bordeaux (Entry List)

normally easy servis for 5-2 not because klizan is better , because chardy now stop playing , this players are such idiots all match is in one servis game take that fuking gem and you will win match ....but he dont thinking like that on court MORONS

Re: Week 20 : Bordeaux (Entry List)

If he doesn't turn this around, then all the seeds are eliminated in two rounds

Re: Week 20 : Bordeaux (Entry List)

Chardy was struggling against a qualifier on Tuesday, so this result is not surprising...All those aces to scrape that 2nd set out for nothing....So much for the top seed

Re: Week 20 : Bordeaux (Entry List)

RG quali draw is on Monday, are they start playing already in Tuesday ? It may effect some matches in Bordeaux. Zopp has to play quali, also I think Matosevic, Bautista- Agut...
Yes. But these players should really not be too affected by that. The trip is quick and easy.

Re: Week 20 : Bordeaux (Entry List)

haha i see i missed some solid bitchfest

tbh i watched that serra-matosevic match and to me serra was just being awful (matosevic was a break down in the 3rd to erratic ilhan of all ppl, clearly troubles with adjusting surface) and i totally disagree it was matosevic's best match in his career

true serra kept some rallies that lasted long and that against other players they could give points, but also half of the points for matosevic were flo's unforced mistakes

i used to like watching serra, he always played so well in szczecin (challenger i used to work at for years), very entertaining game for a few years on not only challenger but even atp tour (he had atp titles!) but that's really gone for some time now...

also i dont suppose any of these players at this stage think "let's tank, i have RG Q ahead!" because players usually prefer building up the monumentum, especially at the stage where they really fight for points and money to travel to the next tournament...most or all of them play quallies anyway  only when someone doesn't feel well he could try to protect the health/energy (like clement who retired) but if someone enters the court and feels strong, i'm sure he'll fight.

Bautista-Agut 6-3

Keep it up.

Bautista-Agut 6-3 6-4

Comfortable win for Roberto, both these guys have good momentum for RG qualies.

Re: Week 20 : Bordeaux (Entry List)

I'm so surprised by Bautista. I wonder what is different with him this season than years past. He doesn't seem like a dramatically different player. He's always been decent in challengers but his consistency is very good this season.

Re: Week 20 : Bordeaux (Entry List)

Klizan has sort of quietly made the QFs here. These courts play similar to the French Open courts. Whoever does well here should be able to translate that in Paris. I wonder if Martin can translate his challenger form to the major in 10 days.

I m really curious about Martin´s performance on French Open.

If he has lot of confindence, he can beat anyone on clay outside TOP 20.
So I hope for a lucky draw and meet TOP 20 player first in 3. round!

Re: Week 20 : Bordeaux (Entry List)

Good to see Martin playing really well...He should make the final...Good tournament for Jurgen anyways, some good wins on clay in a tough draw...Closer to Top 100...Onwards to RG qualies

Re: Week 20 : Bordeaux (Entry List)

Looking at Jurgen now, he definitely does play like a hardcourt player, and I think he has a solid game. He doesn't really have a big weapon but he's solid. His BH DTL is his best shot.

Klizan got too passive in the end of the second set. Gotta put his foot back on the gas.

Re: Week 20 : Bordeaux (Entry List)

Yes, considering Zopp was down by set and break and he has to play RG quali in Tuesday, it was suprising comeback. Would have been easy to let it slide and buy ticket to Paris train. It is not over though,Klizan may recover from here.
