Location isnt bad this city is near two big cities, Goiania and Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, so why is that a bad location? Maybe unusual, but its one of the most important touristical places of Brazil.

Re: Week 19: Rio Quente (Entry List)

I have to admit, this picture looks magical, no wonder they made this tournament a Challenger. But, I do wonder why Minar chose to play here instead of Prague on clay, also to have some preparations maybe for Rome qualies later in the week.

I misinterpreted your earlier post about the location, then. My topographical knowledge concerning Brazil isn't good so I was taking what I mistook to be your word for it.

But my argument concerned the surface mostly. It's rather idiotic to have a hard court event after a series of clay events, and then to have no follow-up on the surface.

Well, I agree to some extent that its a little tough to reach there, you need a bus or a car from Goiania or Brasilia and specially for foreign players it can be tough to reach this city, but we also have any challengers in United States that arent in cities with airports. At least Rio Quente is a touristical city so the players can enjoy a good time . About the surface, I agree.

Re: Week 19: Rio Quente (Entry List)

Mello spraying errors all over the place, looks atrocious, lousy serving, Clezar just standing there waiting for him to self destruct.

Thiago will probably now take the title, should be too good for the rest.

Wouldn't be too sure. He struggled greatly against Saavedra-Corvalan.
