Re: Week 12: Marrakech (Entry List)

Kavcic 6-2 6-1

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Very smart from last year Ducky playing on the clay, it will help his game in the long run and playing these tough events instead of hiding in clown events will work well for him.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

True, this will be good for him, like last year

Hope he can pass Roland Garros Q's.. that would be great

Re: Week 12: Marrakech (Entry List)

Riba is going to be in ranking danger soon. Just dismal play overall. Menendez should have won this match already.

DGT 6-2 *0-1 up over Delbonis. Poor service numbers from the Argentine.

Re: Week 12: Marrakech (Entry List)

It's always smart if a younger guy wants to develop into a real player in the future, they would challenge themselves in tough events and grow from the experience and get better from it, rather than inflating their ranking from weak tournaments. The confidence gained from winning at these better events is invaluable.

Re: Week 12: Marrakech (Entry List)

Riba is a joke. I always thought that judging from his awful ATP results, but last years he won some challengers at least. If he can't even perform in those anymore...

Re: Week 12: Marrakech (Entry List)

Pere had that look he has when he's unfit. He looked sick, bags under the eyes, sluggish with no energy. I'm somewhat happy because now I can root for Marco Gicquel without feeling any guilt. Hope he makes the QF at least here.

Pere needs to start picking it up very soon. Hopefully with a couple of weeks off now, he'll start playing better tennis.

Re: Week 12: Marrakech (Entry List)

PHM looks good early. Definitely about two classes above Cervantes from the baseline, hitting the ball hard and with good direction. PHM isn't happy with his game, though.

Re: Week 12: Marrakech (Entry List)

DGT had three break points at 5 all to serve for the match and got broken immediately the next game to lose the second set. Let's see if he fights in the third set. Both he and DelBo could use the win.

Re: Week 12: Marrakech (Entry List)

PHM's level is so clearly above challengers. His groundstroke sharpness and power, his consistency, his depth and direction of shot. In just four games he's definitely the best player I've seen the entire Moroccan tour.
