Re: Week 11: Rabat (Entry List)

Filippo looks utterly dreadful early. Looks unfit.

Re: Week 11: Rabat (Entry List)

That was by far the best point from Pippo. Awesome defense. Pippo is one of the top 5-10 clay court defenders in the game.

Important hold from Pippo early.

Re: Week 11: Rabat (Entry List)

Pippo never loses those cat and mouse points. Great composure from Klizan to take the point even with Pippo defending excellently.

Both players are starting to play well now.

Klizan killing Volandri with dropshots. He's the more powerful, creative and consistent player thus far. Pippo is having to defend too much.

Is that in Marrakech? If so, any news for that event should be asked in the thread for that the tournament.

Re: Week 11: Rabat (Entry List)

Too easy Klizan.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Week 11: Rabat (Entry List)

Dreadful first set from Pippo, absolutely zero spark in his game. Klizan has basically been allowed to do whatever he wants. Let's see if Filippo starts showing a bit more effort in the second set.

Re: Week 11: Rabat (Entry List)

Pippo couldn't get on top of that first break point. Serve was too good from Klizan, and the lefty topspin forehand pushed Filippo back.

With another BP, hopefully Pippo can break back here.

Pretty bad service game from Klizan. Too many errors. Pippo is beginning to play better, more consistency.

Re: Week 11: Rabat (Entry List)

Klizan starting to get frustrated. This is the opportunity for Filippo to pounce.

Re: Week 11: Rabat (Entry List)

Disastrous errors from Pippo. Play lacking confidence. What type of game was that? Looked like he got nervous or something, just fell apart rapidly.

Klizan only two games away from the title.

Re: Week 11: Rabat (Entry List)

Volandri getting pissed off, but this is because Klizan isn't letting him play.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
