Re: Week 1: Nouméa, New Caledonia (Entry List)

Great to see Duckworth playing hard challengers. Surface suits him much better than clay. I have big hopes for Chardy, he should gain some confidence on chall. tour before making surprise in Sydney (hopefully)

how come? He has huge serve, strong strikes and really big problems with keeping the ball in court especially while he is forced to defend.

Just look at his results on clay compared to hard. Much better. He is way more better on clay he plays with an extreme grip and hits with so much topspin.

Re: Week 1: Nouméa, New Caledonia (Entry List)

Well I took a look at his results on clay: biggest win against Thomas Fabbiano, best result - second round of challenger (out of the 54 matches). Whereas on hard court he managed to reach to the final of wildcard playoffs, defeating Greg Jones on his way.
I am quite sure that his biggest achievements will be on hard courts.
