Ruben should not struggle with someone of the quality of Lorenzi.

Re: Week 36 : Sevilla (Entry List)

Ruben has had like 8 or 9 break points and not broken. Absolutely ridiculous what's going on in this match.

Ruben finally broke. Absolutely ridiculous it took him this long but at least it's done.

Re: Week 36 : Sevilla (Entry List)

Lorenzi is a fighter, a hard worker and whatever...
but he just CAN'T play tennis!
i've never seen someone at this level having those technical difficulties in executing shots...
and he took a set to Nadal!
U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-E !

Re: Week 36 : Sevilla (Entry List)

Well, Nadal wasn't in any condition that match. Any decent player would have taken him out. Lorenzi is one of the worst top 100 players I've known. But he manages to find ways every season to finish within top 150, so I'll give him credit for his spirit, even though he sucks.

Re: Week 36 : Sevilla (Entry List)

believe it or not these are some of the names Lorenzi beated this year: Andujar, Kavcic, Bellucci on clay and Ljubicic on hard, plus a set with Nadal
well results speak for themselves, but it's still incredible

Re: Week 36 : Sevilla (Entry List)

Pere fell down 0-*3, then had 2-*3 30-0, but couldn't win the set.

He should still win this match. He's got a big serve himself, he looks better today than he did his first two matches, and Ciric isn't consistent off the ground.

Re: Week 36 : Sevilla (Entry List)

I'll be very pissed if Pere loses. Ciric can't ruin everything here by winning. He needs to do what he needs to do. The illness will be less of a factor because there won't be many long rallies in this match.

You can check a livestream, by going to livescorehunter.com.

It's 3-3 on serve in the third set.

Re: Week 36 : Sevilla (Entry List)

Pere mishit a forehand that would have given him 0-40 to break, to serve for the match. Hopefully that doesn't cost him.
