QD http://www.atpworldtour.com/posting/2011/447/qs.pdf

No. 1 seed Kudryavtsev has ranking 149, No. 2 has only 808

... and of course Kudryavtsev's ranking is better that any in MD (it may be changed only through WCs)

Kudry is really impredictable, you really can't tell if he will beat a top 30 Atp or lose to the no. 800...

Is he still Kudryavtsev's coach? It seems older Youzhny was inactive as player last ten years

Re: Week 32: Samarkand, Uzbekistan [Entry List]

I don't know; haven't talked to Sasha for a longer time now, but it would make sense they both came here and signed in for Q .

I know Labadze is there but he didn't want to play

Safin commented on his photo on FB, "soon you won't fit in the screen" I guess the chap will never play any tennis, even in Davis Cup But hopefully he can teach some kids, like he did with Basilashvili, who was bought by Russia anyway (surprisingly not by Kazakhstan)

Re: Week 32: Samarkand, Uzbekistan [Entry List]

I don`t understand why the surface chosen is clay . This whole Asian tour is on hard court, even the week before (Beijing) and the week after too (Karshi). That is one of the main reasons why nobody is playing there. E

Eventually if the surface chosen would had been hard some players would had picked to play a small tour with Samarkand, Karshi and Astana. But not with a clay court event in between.
