Re: Challenger Tour Finals - São Paulo on Ibirapuera Gymnasium

Stebe makes some atrocious errors. He's been mostly the better player in the rallies, but he keeps shooting himself in the foot with errors, when the match could be much easier for him.

Bachinger mostly is serving and counter-punching, like usual.

This potential final game will get testy. Stebe should have won this already.

GSM Stebe
But should have been a lot easier. Hopefully he won't be too tired tomorrow.

Stebe got the victory, huge one for him. But I don't see him beating Machado unless Machado is tired. If he does beat Machado then he could be in the SF, which would give him a good chance to make Australia.

I don't think Cedrik will be tired, he didn't have to do a lot of running, luckily for him.

Much better Cedrik

Now he is also in a good position to advance to the semis, but I'm glad he served it out, was scared, after he wasted the Match Points.

Really important win for Cedrik!

Let's see how Machado does against Sela.
Atm I think Stebe vs Machado is 50-50, hopefully Machado loses today so Stebe is guaranteed a place in the semis with a win against Machado.

Machado winning 6-2 on 1st set! woow! He is playing consistent as always, and Sela is just playing very bad today. Vamos RUI!

Machado has really surprised everyone with his play on this surface this week. He's played pretty good tennis in the process, doing all the basics well. Who knows, he might get to the final at this rate?

Someone ask the DJ to put different musics every interruption. London calling x3 destroyed Sela.

Re: Challenger Tour Finals - São Paulo on Ibirapuera Gymnasium

Machado set and double break up ... barely expected. Maybe it´s better to finish second in the other group

Roger Federer - Martin Klizan - Lukas Lacko - Milos Raonic - Fernando Verdasco

Dustin Brown - Nick Kyrgios - Norbert Gombos - Stanislas Wawrinka - Dominic Thiem

Re: Challenger Tour Finals - São Paulo on Ibirapuera Gymnasium

I'm not terribly surprised. These courts are slow, Rui is playing confidently, and he's playing his tennis and doing it effectively. Dudi didn't play well yesterday so I knew this could be a loss for him.

Re: Challenger Tour Finals - São Paulo on Ibirapuera Gymnasium

According to some people here, Rui "Underdog" Machado is going places. A win in less than one hour time against the hard surfuce speciallist Dudi Sela. What a match of Rui!
