Re: Challenger Tour Finals - São Paulo on Ibirapuera Gymnasium

Ok so if the direct match counts in case of a tie, Klizan will advance if he beats Bellucci in straights tonight.

Federer |Söderling |most of the Germans

I also like: Wawrinka | Tsonga | Dimitrov | Isner | Gulbis |

Warm regards: 6-3 6-0 / 6-3 6-4

Yeah but Bellucci would be out anyway.
My intention in the post above was actually that Bellucci would be out for sure if he loses in straights today but I didn't really express that clearly.

It's funny Klizan and Bellucci are exactly the same type of players

if thomaz loses this he really has work to do in the off season..this would be an awful loss

it would also mean the final wouldnt have an audience

Re: Challenger Tour Finals - São Paulo on Ibirapuera Gymnasium

I thought bellucci was supposed to be the home boy a class above these challenger players but as i see his level here is below them and the funny part is klizan is playin at about 70%.

Brazilian crowd sure is helping push Bellucci here. It's true, Klizan and Bellucci are very similar players. Bellucci has more firepower, though, so he should be winning more comfortably.

Yes klizan and bellucci are very similar players but the only thing that favours klizan here is the fact its being played indoors but bellucci should be winning this very comfortably.

Re: Challenger Tour Finals - São Paulo on Ibirapuera Gymnasium

well, Bellucci and indoors don't really mesh together...not like Klizan is indoor monster either, but this brazilian boy is simply awful

Wrong, If Bellucci loses, and Reynolds loses later on then Beck is 3-0 while Bellucci, Reynolds, and Klizan are 1-2. it would go to set win %. A bellucci 2-1 loss(would be the only way he loses now that it's in set 3) would make him 4-4 in sets for a 50% set win %. Klizan would be 3-5 for 37.50%, and Reynolds would be 2-5 for 28.57%(if he loses in straights) or 3-5 for 37.50%(if he loses in 3) and Thomaz would advance.

If Bellucci loses, and Reynolds wins, Reynolds is first, Beck is 2nd. If bellucci Loses and Reynolds loses then Beck is first Bellucci is 2nd.

If Bellucci wins, and Beck wins, Beck is first, Bellucci is 2nd.

If Bellucci wins, and Reynolds wins then beck, Reynolds, and Bellucci are all 2-1 and it has to go to set win % againt. If Reynolds were to win that in straights it'd be Bellucci 1st and Reynolds 2nd, if Reynolds won in 3 it'd be Beck first and Bellucci 2nd, if I'm not mistaken on the order of tiebreakers
