OK, just hand him the bagel just to make sure of qualification.

Re: Challenger Tour Finals - São Paulo on Ibirapuera Gymnasium

Stebe is in the semis, and we almost for sure have a German finalist now (Beck would have to lose to Reynolds today to lose the 1st place in the other group).

Rui gave up there in the end, but Stebe hit some very aggressive returns, nice win.

If at first you don't succeed, lower your standards.

Machado had given up by that game. Well done Cedrik.

Now it's important to remember that he doesn't gain anything by qualifying for the semi-finals. He'll have to beat whoever he plays (probably Bellucci), but at least he has given himself the chance to compete for more points.

It's Beck probably as he already has beaten Bellucci and leads the other group.

Perfect Cedrik played his best match of the event when it mattered most and the critical *2-0 game in the second set is what sealed his win. Great job. Really big win for his career.

Re: Challenger Tour Finals - São Paulo on Ibirapuera Gymnasium

Maybe he can get on a roll now but Beck is in great form as well. Of course I, as a German, would have liked to see that match as the final but now we probably have to take it this way. I'm happy regardless who wins.
