Re: Week 13: Portugal F3

Nathi, I don't think he will get a WC. I can not guarantee you this ( because João Lagos has a thing for Gastão ) but I was told that he will not get one, not this year at least.

Which I think, It's a wise thing to do. It's too early for him, and no I don't want him to be another Donald Young . That would hardly happen with Gastão anyway, because he is a wonderfull kid. And like you said, let's hope for him.

My guess, unlike Trulli, would be Frederico Gil.
But I would love to see Rui getting one, evidently. Any of them would deserve it anyway, so whatever happens I will be very pleased.

Re: Week 13: Portugal F3

It'll be the winner of the RTP Tournament, and it'll be Rui Machado almost for sure. Last time I remember Machado and Gil meeting on clay, Rui won 6-3 6-0. Harsh. Frederico sure can do better than that, but he's more versatile whereas Rui is a clay specialist.

As for Gastão, let's hope he doesn't end up the next Nuno Marques. Talent for Top 20, matches given away poorly every week. It was so heart-breaking that someone so talented was 10 times a bigger choker than Mathieu is.

Re: Week 13: Portugal F3

Well, that's why some never make it to top 20. It has only space for 20 players, unfortunately. Other can be there in our imagination... like Nuno, Gastao and uhhh... had to write it... Mikki.

Who's Mikki? Sorry for the ignorance.

By the way, Marques' career high is 86th. It's a huge gap.

Trulli that was last year.

If Rui wins the RTP Tournament, then it's all good. It is because he was the best. But okay I admit it, I have a soft spot for Fred ( always did ), and I would be thrilled to see in Estoril.

Gastão can be much better then Nuno, he has the talent for that no doubt about it. But only time will tell us that.

Gosh I miss Nuno, why does he have to be in the North?

Michael Ryderstedt, a not-so-good player from Sweden with Polish origins, who had that bad luck to charm me.

Yes I know Nuno's CH. Worse than Berlocq's, BTW.

Hi Claudia,
We always have big hopes for upcoming players, and they make them come true or not. Hopefully your player can do a lot of good to your country. If Gastao actually wins WC tournament and he gets a WC, it will be surely deserved and...

gosh, I wish it happened so.

Nathii, my fingers are more then crossed for Gastão. He is good, talented, and has a good head. We can only hope that he will go far.

I have hope for Frederico as well, cause well...I like him.

Hey btw, that guy Andrew has a girl in his avvie. Isn't that you?

Re: Week 13: Portugal F3

Could you describe his game to me, by the way? I realize he's going to improve all shots, but what kind of player is he like?

yeah... happens to be me - you guessed from 'unbelieveable' right?

Re: Week 13: Portugal F3

The dream final will happen!

Gil cruised until there, Machado had some trouble.

Nathaliia, Gastão plays a balanced game. He has no real weapon, but he's very strong everywhere, and all his hits are very solid.

Re: Week 13: Portugal F3

I knew he could beat him!! Gosh I am so happy for Fred. Way to go.
Congrats to Rui as well, of course.

Nathii dear, I just saw your question about Gastão now. But I think Trulli resumed it very well.
And yes I noticed it was you in Andrew's avvie because of the unbeliveable part. You're friends with him?
