Leo Tavares is a doubles player no ? ranked inside the top 300] only twice in the last 12 years! Althought he has been in the top 100 so that is impressive . Finishing the year there is what I mean

Novak Djokovic .

6 Australian Opens
1 French Open
3 Wimbledons
2 US Opens[/

Not that easy field for a futures tournament, with the cut-off in the mid 700´s. Conditions are best suited for british players, also.

Any news of Leo Tavares match?

Hopefully he takes advantage this week rather than playing, and behaving, like a total tw@t in round 2 as he did last week.

Played absolutely awful in his second round match which he lost in 2 and 2. He spent the entire second set whining about bad he was playing and then threw a massive strop at the end of the match, swearing at the top of his voice, throwing water bottles round the court and then sat in his chair for about 5 minutes close to tears. It was a pretty embarrassing spectacle.

I agree that he is a nice lad but he does need to grow up a bit and keep his emotions in check when he is playing badly. He also had plenty of people cheering him one but is probably more in need for a bit of honest criticism. I am hoping Greg Rusedski (who is working with Liam for a few weeks) privately called him out on his awful behaviour.

When he is playing well his attitude looks brilliant and he deals with setbacks in matches (bad decisions, opponent playing well, etc) without complaint. When he is playing badly he just gets really down on himself which only makes him play worse and then get even more down on himself. It was kind of understandable at 17 but he really needs to grow out of it fast. It doesn't help when other players are nice to his face about his antics while having a good chuckle as soon as his back is turned.
