Epic movies, like brokeback mountain, are seldom found in the industry or worthy for the mainstream viewer. As often as I have watched the clips of this movie, I always find something more to it. For one, the gay stuff doesn't enter the picture for me, only the dimension of the highest love I have ever witnessed in life or on film.

165. I hate standing next to women who are taller than me. And I don't like wearing heels, so it's quite a good thing that I'm taller than most of my friends.

Re: How tall are you? (with poll)

Young women are far taller these days, where I am. In fact teenagers in general are huge compared to just 8 or 9 years when I was at school. Must be the increase in fast food around here.

Women not liking standing next to taller women is one thing. I can't help feeling awkward standing next to a woman taller than me either. Has happened more than a few times as well..

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Great tip to stay fit and mobile: If you run up and down the stairs two steps at a time at least once daily, there will never come a time when you can't do it. Until of course one day you mistime a step, collapse and break all your bones... That would suck. But you had a good run.

Re: How tall are you? (with poll)

I have seen programs about people who were significantly taller or shorter than the norm. Neither extreme is healthy and both types of people will die at young ages. I have to wonder about the health of extremely tall tennis players and if they will die at young ages. It is hard to believe that some are only in their early 20s. Many of them already look much older than their chronological ages.
