Andre agassi is a midget and he won many GS if you are short you can still have big groundstroke and see above net.

5'7, I believe. And had some condition where he scarcely hit puberty, had a hormone deficiency or something..

Though there is increasing height bias in football. Possibly just in our country though, where we have hordes of coaches who promote youngsters based on size over technical ability. I doubt it's the same in Spain or Italy, amongst others.

If Olivier Rochus almost beat Federer on grass, you definitely can do something. Of course, you'll probably never be top 100, but is that really what you're aiming for?
In the end, you'll just compensate your height with other things. That's what everyone has to do with their weaknesses anyways. Short people here said they had to develop extra athleticism: well why doesn't every one do that then? Everyone is limited in their way. 5'3" won't prevent you from enjoying tennis and even play at a very good level if you're committed.

Just on Barca alone, there are players shorter than he. It's a matter of position - if you're 5'5'', you can't be a goalkeeper, but a midfielder/wingback/attacker you can if you possess the talent.

This is not a signature

5'6 reporting in.

I rely on athleticism and technique over my taller and stronger opponents. Court craft can make the difference when you are shorter.

If you have an issue with a report/infraction, a user, a moderator or just want to talk, PM me.

I support Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, David Ferrer, Del Potro.

Why? Because I love tennis plain and simple

I am around 5'7 (169cm) and handling topspin is a pain.

Tomic - Kyrgios - Kokkinakis

If you are young, you could try basketball to stretch you out.
