I'm not religious. Books don't teach you how to be happy.

I'm more spiritual than anything, and organized religion to me can be/is a real issue.

this I respect.

as for myself, totally agnostic in every aspect of my life.

I say that I am an agnostic. People think that's pusillanimous and covering your bets. But it's not based on any belief or yearning for an afterlife but on the fact that we actually know so little about the cosmos. It is a tribute to the complexity and, at our present stage of development, the unknowability of the universe.

If I'm on ignore, you couldn't have seen my post. And why do you bother reading and replying to my posts if I'm on ignore?

Not my fault you and others are offended by me saying the truth.
Do you actually have any proof that the Bible is true?
Probably not.

Dani: Faith is something completely subjective and truth in that case is as well

I am a religious person but I don't mind agnostic/atheist views, I respect everyone's freedom and I hope to get the same kind of respect back

Re: Just curious...what religion are you?

These different religions are all prepackaged.
Each religion sets the things to believe in and some people pick the one they think matches how they think. Or some are just brainwashed from childhood.
Each religion is just a point of view deserving no respect or disrespect. Just like prefering a kind of car.
Nothing special about religion.
I don't believe in angels, a few religions reference them, christians and I think even muslims talk about them coming down with messages. It's pretty crazy but that's what some believe.
Can you imagine someone today saying they got a message from an angel or god? They would be locked up.

Then there's some who believe that god is all powerful. You have to wonder why he doesn't help young children from starving and disease, they are too young to have done anything wrong but he doesn't help. This would make god a terrible person or the other alternative is there is no all powerful god.
