Not religion, although it's still useful for many. But the idea of some kind of creator looks plausible to me.

It doesn't seem plausible to me. Who created the creator? Who created the creator of the creator? The Universe always having existed is more plausible, in my opinion.

Stop sinning and just admit I'm right. You'll feel better about yourself.

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.

The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

Re: Do You Believe In A "God"?

For the devout religious people in here: what do you believe the consequences are for not following the religion that you do?

I know tons of religions where if you aren't following that, you go to hell. Irrespective of your work, your life or anything. Even if your life was within the bounds of the religion but they did not specifically follow it.

Personally, I'm somewhere between agnostic and atheist. That being said I never question someones faith or intrude. What does piss me off is when zealots try to indoctrinate or constantly harp where I will be in the afterlife.

And do you really want to talk about disrespect? What you said about science is perhaps the most offensive, vacuous statement in the entire thread.
I'm gonna check on what he said now.

I agree wholeheartedly with you, mate.

No, it's not. Until there's proof of something more intelligent than us in the universe, we have the right to think of ourselves and the reference point.

That's bullshit. And you know it.

I believe.

But admittedly I'm a bad Christian. Today is Sunday and I'm not going to Church.

This.

Also, far too many people confuse the notions of "God", "religion" and "church".
