Re: Boy, have times changed!

And the best one of all---a neat little bookend to their career rivalry---a young Pete and Andre meet for the first time at USO 1990 where Pete won his first slam title. Twelve years later, a more mature Pete and Andre would meet at USO again, where Pete would win his final slam before reitiring, 2002.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Re: Boy, have times changed!

Here are some screencaps I took of Andre during the USOpen preview show. This is Andre's 20th USO so they had a short tribute to him. I just love looking at classic 80s Andre. Some of these pics demonstrate why he was considered to be Mr Hottie way back when.

Hehe!

From the article "Mr. Metamorphosis"
Agassi morphed from pretty boy to elder statesman. (Getty Images)
