Re: US OPEN, final big one of the year! ¡Vamos Chico!

Fer up second on Grandstand tomorrow. Hopefully we'll get coverage!

I think for me the most talented of all times was (Marcelo) Rios. Marat Safin, 2004

Marcelo has an enormous talent. Gaudio, RG champion 2004

"Rios ... he has a beautiful game, great forehand and great touch," Federer, World number 1

Guillermo Coria: "Ríos and Vilas are my two idols"

Bit of a slow start for Fer. Now a set down, and let's hope the short rain break fires him up. Vamos Fer!

What on earth happened to him? Losing in the first round is a big disappointment. Come on Fer you can do better than that.

Well, he lost the first set, there was a slight rain delay, and when he came out, he didn't seem to move well, threw away his service game, and I honestly thought it was going to be straight sets. Came roaring back in the 3rd set, clawed his way from a break down in the 4th, and Dodig looked nervy in the 5th set. A very see-saw battle. Fer had lots of chances to break in the 5th - recovered one break, and the last game was all deuce/ad. It was a very disappointing match - and Fer made alot of unforced errors. He could so easily have won it.

He could have easily won it....but then again...he could (and it looked like it) just as easily have lost in 3... so Im not happy he lost, but I applaud his fighting spirit.

Hoping for a doubles success then

Re: US OPEN, final big one of the year! ¡Vamos Chico!

I seriously past day had a panic and anxiety attacks plus my blood pressure went up extremely high. That match was just.
I wanted to kill Nando, i really did, but i love him too much for that to happen.
But at least he fought, but losing to Dodig, even though hes a good decent player, but still?

Oh God, he lost in the first round of St Petersburg! I hope he isn't going into a losing streak again.

Re: AUSTRALIAN OPEN... here we go!¡Vamos Chico!

The Australian Open Draw

Here

A bit too close to Roger for my liking....and then there are Gabashvili & Stakhovsky, who can be a threat to anyone at any given day...so it may sound easy but this draw is far from easy.....
